I have decided that I need to bite the bullet and create my own
Website. The primary purpose of this Website will be to self publish
articles that I have written.
I know html at a basic level, but I have no desire to spend a lot of
time messing around with code trying to make something look nice (and
forget about spending hours trying to center a table!). Nor do I
really want to learn java. Rather, I'm looking for recommendations on
software that is really, really easy to use.
Everything that I have ever written is in Word, but I don't want
people to have to open up a Word file in order to read an article.
Not looking for research here - I'm looking for recommendations from
your personal experience, and hoping that many of you will post a
quick response. (Hey, I'm a repeat customer!)
Many thanks in advance!I recommend using the Network Solutions Easy Designer. Simple Building
Block structureI use it myself for 3 of my sites. Go to
[ http://www.networksolutions.com ] for details.
They offer a free trial demonstration of the Easy Designer on the
site. You can use templates for your pages, or just insert a blank
block and paste in your own HTML/Javascript code your wrote your self
in Notepad, or MS FrontPage or whatever. Thats what I like about
it-if you want, you can write your own code, but you dont have toif
oyure in a big hurry and just want your article posted fast, you can
just paste it from word into a Text block, and click Publish.
natalieemt-ga,
Even if your domain is already registered outside of Network
Solutions, you can still have them host your site.
E-mail them at WebSiteSupport@NetworkSolutions.com with any
questions. They respond same-day.
Good luck with your web endeavors!
Sincerely,
Omnsicientbeing-ga
