They must have some interest in spirituality and religion, or they wouln't be concerned here. Am I wronge, what is the deal?Why do the Christians-- in fact, anyone-- keep bringing up this point?
If they have an opinion, they have the right to discuss it here. Some atheists have spiritual beliefs, some want to input their own opinions in religious discussions, some want to be assholes and proselytize and try to force others to believe in the nonexistence of a god. It's not your forum, so you don't have the right to say who should and should not post here.Actually, we are simply here to try and prevent society from becoming more deluded than it already is. Oh, they are religious. They have more faith than Christians. Faith in chance. Faith in evolution. Faith in themselves. In fact, they become their own gods, bowing before their supposed intellect. I haven't met a smart on here yet on here, however.No only atheists, other unbelievers as well

They do believe in something. It is the same thing with satanists and people with scientology. For some reason that I still cannot ascertain, Christians seem to ignore this completely and continue to post this same question every single day.
Which pretty much sums up the attitude most of them have: "If it's not written in the bible, I can't see it!"
So here's your canned answer: Spirituality is not limited to YOUR belief system, O Ignorant Child.Atheists have opinions about religion, too, and many do consider themselves spiritual, though not all like using that term.I think perhaps some may be looking, but for the majority, I think they just want to annoy others.I'm not sure about the atheists, but the Ninja are studying both groups.
The Ninja say, "it is important to take an interest in all things."I'm not a vegetarian, myself, but I have certainly have an interest in creative vegetable recipes.
I'm also not a member of an ethnic minority, but I have an interest in issue that affect ethnic minorities.

peaceWell you answered your own question in part. Atheists can and do have interest in religion and spirituality - I like learning about religions, same as I like Greek mythology. Interesting stories.
Other reasons are that religion affects each and every one of us. It affects the laws that are made, the politicians that are elected, the future for our children. Some of us think that the world teeters on a precarious knife edge at the moment and is on that edge because of the irrational thinking that is often associated with religion.

Religion and the belief of a lack of religion are still both belief systems. Opposites but still both correct for the holder of that view.Awesome question. I am convinced that the atheists are secretly "wanna be Christians".They either come to learn, taunt, debate, make statements, insult, or all.A) It's a free country.

Which is pretty close to the way most atheists see religious zealots here.As long as Christianity, as well as several of the other "ultimate truths", have as their end and gleefully sought after goal, the END OF THE WORLD, and as long as they believe that their rights are being violated if they are denied the opportunity to use the coercive power of the state to shove their god down every ones throat, you will have to put up with us being in your face.
