proplem in my forum

My forum do a high load on the server ,This load comes form vieweing forum topics , and i want to reduce this load on the server and i want to convert view topics from php to html files to reduce the load also , what is the best thing for me to reduce the load

and my forum is so big :)

Top Process %CPU 99.9 /usr/bin/php showthread.php
Top Process %CPU 88.0 [php]
Top Process %CPU 78.0 /usr/bin/php showthread.php
