i am trying to locate a music box that has the song "true companion"
by marc cohn. it may be with a company that allows you to create your
own song on a music boxAs far as I could tell (though I didn't have time for an extremely
thorough search), there aren't any companies selling pre-made music
boxes with that tune over the internet.
If you want to try creating a custom music box, you might take a look
at http://www.emusicalgifts.com/ - click the link "Design Your Own
Music Box". Though their list of available songs is quite long, it
doesn't contain the one you're looking for (the list can be accessed
at http://www.emusicalgifts.com/mtlist.asp). However, the "Design
Your Own..." page contains the text " You choose... A Song from our
standard list or our custom tune list (if you don?t see your song,
please call)." If you're really willing to pay for a good music box
with the Marc Cohn song on it, you might as well at least call them
and ask if they can do it for you. Here are the phone numbers:

Quick point of clarification, if you don't mind: Is the music box in
any particular shape or of any particular design, or are you looking
for a researcher to locate any music box as long as it plays the song
"true companion"?
