What is the thickness of the hull of a naval destroyer ship?FYI - Some hull thicknesses also vary from area to area on the same
type of vessel and some even have double hulls.
tutuzdad-gaI realize that both questions are very similiar and am happy that we
are working on one of them let alone both. I would submit that with
the answers presented we can call this question closed.Hello Ships1,
Since I answered your other question of the same topic, might want to
close or cancel this one, so you won't be charged unnecessarily. I
posted in this clarification box so you will receive an email
notification. Thank you.I would offer this clarification in that I would like the hull
thickness of the Fletcher class destroyers. Hopefully that will be of
help. Dan GreenwoodHello Ships1,
Whoops, I missed out "you" before "might want to close or cancel this
one", so I meant to say that you can close or cancel this question.
Thanks.I am looking for the thickness of the old world war II destroyers
hull.Thank you Dan GreenwoodI am looking for the thickness of the steel used for the outer skin of
a Naval Destroyer. I know it is thin but would like to know the exact
thickness. I should think that the Naval Department would be able to
help, or the builder of ships such as the Portsmouth Va shipyard.Hello Ships1,
Would you be looking for the hull thickness of a particular class?
DIfferent classes of destroyers can have different hull thicknesses.
