New Web Site Discussion Forum Best answer on the web

    We have just set up a new website discussion forum for careers, providers and others involved in the delivery of Care Services in Scotland (please see www.carecommission.com website for definition of a 'Care Service').
    A few questions:

    1. We want to make the site searchable via all the search engines - the website is set up under a voluntary umbrella - what is the most cost effective option.
    2. Can phpbb (name of software used for forum) be searched via goggle and other search engines etc... If not how do we make it searchable? If we need to purchase software to submit the site what is the best out there? None of us are computer gurus so please break this down!
    2. On the front page we have listed the main headings of different types of Care Services the forum is for. I would like a comprehensive list of website and email addresses in Scotland (or UK wide services where the provide services in Scotland) of each service listed i.e. Care Homes for Older People, Hostels, Women?s Refuges, Care Homes for Children..... In regards to this list, main organisational email addresses are requested as well as all individual establishments the organisation runs from. As an example you may have the main address for a provider of care homes in the UK/Scotland - we would also like the email addresses of the individual care home email addresses from where the organisation operates. Can you put it into a format for a bulk email to advertise the site? We would also like an email list of any other organisations - either government or career/service user organisations where we can email information regarding the site!
    3. Any other suggestions to publicise the site or improve it? We have advertised with google adwords - type in 'care commission' or 'supporting people' to see advert (try not to click on advert to save costs at out end - thanks) - any suggestions to imporve it?
