Simple Windows 2000 question regarding user profiles Best answer on the web

2000 loads it used to load directly to my user profile. Then I
downloaded microsoft's "critical updates" and it now loads to the
"Administrator" profile. I have to let this fully load then log off
Administrator and log onto my profile. It's a small thing but it
drives me nuts.
How do I change Windows 2000 so when the computer is turned on or
restarts instead of Administrator it will load my user profile? I am
the only person who uses this machine.
and then make sure "users must enter a username password" is checked off

It is an official Microsoft product, as this quote from annoyances.org explains:
"Soon after the introduction of Windows 95, Microsoft got tired of responding to customer complaints (read "annoyances"), so they released TweakUI in their collection of "Power Toys." TweakUI has a little settings window that allows you to fix a few annoyances without messing around in the Registry."
Download, unzip and install TweakUI. You then access it through Settings-> Control Panel-> TweakUI.
Click the "Logon" tab, check the "Logon automatically at system startup" box, and type in the name and password of whatever profile you want to be logged in under. Problem solved.
If this doesn't work for you (my version of TweakUI isn't the newest, so the details may have changed), please request a clarification before rating my answer and I'll be pleased to help.
Hope that solves your problem
