Who are the largest resellers of computer networking product in the UK
and is there a listing of their web sites?Hi pebsyr!
A friend in the UK is always telling me how much information he finds
through the UK Computers Guide, so that was my first stop in tracking
down information for you:

Clicking on their Networking link leads to a listing of 35 of the UKs
top network hardware retailers:

Sifting through the list, it was apparent to me that these were in no
particular order, and some of the listings were for small, but award
winning, retailers. Let's pull the big ones out:
UKCG calls Maplin Electronics "one of the UK's leading retailers,
distributors and online retailers of computer networking products",
and with good reason, it appears. The site is jammed to bursting with
a wide array of hardware choices, not limited to networking equipment:

Watford Electronics claims revenues of in excess of 30 million, and a
customer base of half a million. Like Maplin, they do not limit
themselves strictly to networking hardware, but do offer a large
selection in a dizzying number of categories:

According to UKCG, PC World is "the UK's largest specialist computer
superstore retail outlet", boasting 75 superstores nationwide. They
aren't kidding when they say "super". Here's their Network Hardware

I was unable to locate a single consolidated listing of the UK's
largest networking retailers, but I did find a couple more large
retailers elsewhere:
MicroWarehouse UK is listed in another directory as one of the largest
