I want to go to medical school but I am uncomfortable with needles and blood, but I wouldn't go to the extent of calling it a phobia. I want to go into the field of rehabilitation so I know I won't be seeing grotesque things there. What do medical students see and do that involves blood and needles? And do most students become more comfortable with that over time?Yes, I'm sure you become comfortable with it over time. . . and if you go into the medical field, then likely you're going to see somje things that aren't very pretty. I don't know any specific things that do not require that type work - ask the school. But try being around that stuff more even if you're a bit uncomfortable, cos it might help!! Good luck!
