Show me another »What kind of doctorate degree can a medical technologist go for?
They don't offer a doctorate in medical technology. But is there a Ph.D in a similar field? Some type of laboratory science?

That's a very good question. I don't have an answer, but if you happen to find one, please let me know. My girlfriend is starting medical technology school this summer, and she has talked about further advancement but she, too, is unsure of the possibilities.

- I found on Petersons.com some graduate programs for Clinical Laboratory Science. Virginia Commonwealth University offers a Ph.D. There's several other schools...tell your gf to check it out.
